Save the Firehall along with much involvement a temporary board of directors and family business involvement. High profile community discussions on the KVET 98.1 Bucky & Bob Show, continued support of Country Line Magazine, and races held by Thunderhill Park Raceway.
After strong community support, in which over $30,000 dollars were raised, to Save the Manchaca Firehall and The Clarence Vogel Manchaca Community Center. All was lost today when the county operating license was revoked. The Firehall as it is commonly referred to in these parts of deep South Austin and Manchaca is no more. A replacement business it being sought and community support is needed, an online questionnaire is on the site today to gather this information.
